This partnership deal came after Alexander Forbes reviewed Octagon Africa’s strategic business and operating model in March 2020, to exit the emerging markets and strategically replace it with credible partners to deliver the same quality services to its clients.

Through the strategy review, this partnership has provided a platform to work with a network of partners, while maintaining delivery excellence to deliver solutions to our clients around the continent with a single point of contact at an affordable price

Octagon provides pension administration, insurance brokerage, employee benefits and risk consulting services to Alexander Forbes clients through a revenue sharing model. The two organizations  share research works, intellectual property, global best practice, outreach and analysis which will better grow the industry and the region.

Octagon Africa has also completed the purchase of 49 per cent stake in shareholding in Alexander Forbes Financial Services Zambia following the review of its strategic business and operating model to exit some in-country operations.
